As part of our wider Equality, Diversity and inclusivity journey, YMCA Lincolnshire commissioned Just Lincolnshire to conduct a series of Courageous Conversations with our 130 strong employee team. Wes and his team sensitively and expertly guided these ‘safe space conversations’ gathering honest and constructive feedback, and eloquently communicated the general mood of the organisation to our Exec team, helping to shape our future action plan going forwards.
Just Lincolnshire has also trained our Employee Ambassadors and advised on the creation of our EDI Committee. These initiatives combined have played a huge role in the development of a culture that truly welcomes all and provided employees with the skills they need to call out inappropriate behaviour or language.
