There are a few of our “Learning centres, Safe/access centres and Ambassadors” that will be taking part.
On Friday 28th of February 2020 we visited the YMCA to present who Just Lincolnshire is to the Fish Tank youth tour group. I then shared with them Stephens story and what we can do as a nation to celebrate Stephen Lawrence day. The group of 7-13yr old’s were more than excited to be apart of celebrating the Stephen Lawrence day and will be focused on one of the four themes presented on the Stephen Lawrence website. The youth group will focus on “living your best life “which looks at striving for a more inclusive society, bridging communities and young people. This will enable young people to make their voices heard within local communities and increase the capability of communities to take action on the issues that matter to them. Its no to late to take part if you know any young person between the ages of 7-13 who like drama and want to take part the Fish tank tour meet on Friday evenings 6pm-7pm.
